Declaration

I declare my commitment to the Education for Peace Network, constituted in accordance with the principles, objectives, and mechanisms as follows:

The Education for Peace Network, created at the International Conference of Education of the Future, in São Paulo, Brasil, is an initiative of citizens who assume their responsibilities for the planet, for the preservation of life, and for the development of knowledge.

The members of the Network assume of that knowledge is a birthright of all and the substance that constitute us and civilization. The understand that Education is the way par excellence for developing knowledge and for fostering the humanity's need for transformation.

The Education for Peace Network is open to all who operates concretely with its objectives:
-To promote a deep and continuous reflection about the Education of the Future and the development of talents and creativity;
-To register and promote the interchange among innovative experience, capable of generating meaningful changes in the education processes and in society as a whole.

To achieve those objectives each individual will take his/her own initiative and will be responsible for it, connecting to the Network as a autonomous and independent individual.

The Education for Peace Network operates a communication center whose objectives are to animate discussions, to organize an open data-base, to cooperate with the organization of events around these themes, and to promote the interconnection with other communication centers, educational networks and alike.
