After organizing World and Continental Meetings from 2000 to 2005 in Geneva, São Paulo, Bangkok, Nazareth, Accra, Findhorn, Washington and Iguassu Falls the Education for Peace Globalnet launched the Awakening the Global Heart program aiming for a worldwide mobilization of peace builders to develop local cooperation and transformative action sharing their knowledge and expertise to promote change.

Below some excerpts of the program announcement:

• “It is the possibility of a collective move towards generating knowledge, insights, deep learning to create the basis for the civilization shift human evolution requires.
• it is a call to celebrate our connectedness and heal the mind of separation that creates wars and suffering.
• it challenges us to expand our sense of being and recognize the planetary and cosmic fabric of our nature.
• to see “others” as sources of revelation and the “enemy” as the lesson we were not able to learn yet.
• to contribute to expand consciousness and healing through simple and practical actions that really matter for the well being of each and every person in the world.”

Through the realization of meetings and celebrations, members of the Globalnet partner organizations can catalyze the formation of local networks of project leaders committed to promote practical day-to-day solutions for communities and populations.
