Description:
It is a program applied
in 79 countries that started in 1996 as a result of a
partnership between educators from all over the world.
Today it is supported by UNESCO, sponsored by UNICEF's
Spanish Commission and counseled by the UNICEF's
cluster of Education (New York) and the Brahma Kumaris
Organization. It is internationally coordinated by
ALIVE (Association for Living Values in Education
International). LVEP offers a variety of activities,
experiences and practical methodologies for teachers
and facilitators qualifying them to capacitate
children and youth to explore and develop values.
Applications:
It is applied in many
different contexts such as formal schools, parents and
educators, homeless children and drug use
rehabilitation risk situations.
